In October 2025, youth workers from six European countries gathered at the Joy’ce Kingdom, our off-grid eco-hub on the island of Skiathos, for two weeks of learning by doing.

Together we explored how natural building and community-led design can make our communities more resilient. With our hands in the mud, we built with cob, lime and bamboo, raised a rocket stove, and co-designed spaces that answer real local needs.

Beyond the building, we shared meals, circles, music and stories — and left with new tools to bring this spirit of joyful resilience back to the young people we work with.
